And while in pursuit to raise happy, healthy kids, as moms we are often struggling mentally and emotionally. We can barely keep our head above water with the weight of trying to “get it all done”. Because of that, we compensate by not meeting our own needs and desires.
We don’t sit down to eat a proper meal. Because there’s “no time” or we’re so busy we forget to eat. We don’t exercise. Because, again “no time” or energy. Then there is sleep. “I’ll sleep when I’m dead.” Right?
And what about your goals and dreams, the ones you set aside for “someday?” Do you even remember them?
Do you see? It’s no wonder why we end up feeling stressed, disconnected, and alone.
Hi I’m Christy Lea
a natural healthy mom, holistic health coach and wellness educator with a passion for guiding moms on their journey to mental and emotional wellness through natural practices. My story begins over a decade ago when I was struggling mentally and emotionally. Seeking true healing, I immersed myself in the study of natural health and wellness, gradually finding freedom and wellness with a new level of joy and purpose.
Today, I’m grateful to God—our Savior, Provider, and Healer. Fourteen years medication-free has shown me the incredible truth: He has already provided everything we need to live healthy and free when we surrender fully to Him.
My journey has fueled a mission to help other moms experience this same transformation. 1. I can help you take back control of their health & well being
I’m not talking about the kind of control that can lead to rigidity, strained relationships, and consequently, elevated stress. While life in all its messiness continues on its own course despite all attempts to make it mind. We all know people who need control and put all their energies into asserting and maintaining it. Often with unfortunate results. You may or you may not relate. As a recovering control freak, I can say with absolute certainty that you don’t want that kind of control.
However, taking healthy control of your life & health is another matter. When you do that, you feel empowered and confident. But, the trick is knowing when and where to grab the reins and when to surrender.
2. I can help you make self-care a priority
Self-care is an attitude toward yourself and your life that says I am responsible for myself. Author Melody Beattie, writes about it in her book, Codependent No More. However, it doesn’t mean you become selfish, cold, and detached. But, that you first become compassionate with yourself.
To practice self-care you must continually ask the question, “What do I need to do to take care of myself?”. To be clear, self-care can take the form of gifts to yourself and pleasurable activities. But more importantly, it means putting in work and taking 100% responsibility for your life. For example, you may need to change some of your habits that are keeping you from being your best self.
Practicing self-care means you become your own best friend. And, one thing you can be sure of is that it will always improve your physical and mental health.

To clarify, I was aware of the importance of sleep, adequate nutrition, and exercise. However, I wasn’t aware of the chemical toxins in products that I was buying and using. Every. Single. Day. Toxins in hair and skin care products that I was using. As well as, laundry detergent and other household cleaners, even some of the food and water I was eating and drinking.
In other words, eliminating and minimizing toxins will positively impact your physical and mental health.

My journey to becoming a natural healthy mom began with this quote. “Your body’s ability to heal is greater than anyone has permitted you to believe.”
We’ve been conditioned to believe that we need a pill for every ill, but the truth is pills only mask and suppress the symptoms. Consequently, they interfere with the bodies natural ability to heal itself. If you want your body to perform and function at its greatest ability, give it more of what it needs. As well as, minimizing the things that aren’t good for it. In other words, support its natural processes.
Amazingly, my kids and I have lived free from over-the-counter and prescription medication for over 12 years. Over the years, I’ve learn lots of alternative natural remedies that work with your body and support it’s ability to heal itself.

I created this website because I wanted other moms to know… you’re not alone, you can stop worrying and start enjoying life again.
Through my personal experience and in talking/working with moms I’ve realized that often we are dragging through the day and don’t recognize the impact that our daily choices have on our health and wellbeing.

Natural Healthy Mom Was Designed for Struggling Moms in Need of Mental and Emotional Wellness
My mission is to inspire and support stressed-out/tired moms in taking back control of their health and life. In other words, help them build healthy habits for mental and emotional wellness. So they feel empowered to live as the person God created them to be. Feeling more calm, confident, and connected to their family and their world.
I believe moms have a great influence on the next generation. Healthier moms create healthier families and ultimately healthier communities.
Furthermore, as a natural healthy mom coach and wellness educator, my goal is to educate moms on how to implement better nutrition and lifestyle choices that support mental and emotional wellness. I will address how to meet basic needs as well as how to eliminate the top threats to your health and wellbeing.
My aim is in educating moms to grow in knowledge of health as it relates to food consumption, hydration, lifestyle, and related activities, which can provide the following benefits:

- Improved nutrition knowledge and healthier eating habits
- Reduced stress and anxiety
- Fewer food cravings
- Increased energy and vitality
- Increased daily satisfaction
Through one-on-one coaching, my role is to work in partnership with you to set goals, eliminate roadblocks and help you take action to achieve and sustain health supporting behaviors. My approach is based on principles of mindset growth, behavior change, with clearly defined goals, small steps, repetition, and personal accountability. It’s not about putting you on a short-term diet. Rather, it’s about teaching you new skills that will last a lifetime.
Through group coaching, we work through the same stuff as one-on-one, but with the added benefit of having support within a small group of likeminded moms who are working towards their own health goals.
